Happy New Year! No, seriously, we’re a little late saying it but we didn’t forget.
We hope 2011 is getting off to a good start for you. We came back from our Christmas break ready to ‘hit it’ and haven’t stopped since.
Everyone at Fitzies is excited about a project we’ve been working on since the start of the year.
We’re in the process of a major website redesign so expect to hear more about that soon.
We’re going to revamp the Fitz-e-News, too. Don’t worry; we’ll continue to provide you with plenty of great content.
We’re just putting a new look on things to keep it interesting.
Don’t forget to stop by our Facebook page
to get the latest in Fitzie’s news, competitions and special online offers.
We love to hear from you over there.
Have a busy and creative week. Cheers from Paul Maietta and all the team at Fitzgerald Photo Imaging

Here´s what we´re reading this week.
Don´t forget, we´d love to read anything you´re finding on the internet that helps to build a successful business.
Send them through and we´ll publish the link in our next newsletter. Our top picks this week are:

How to Optimize Your Website for Local Search
"
Local search engine optimization can be just as time consuming and competitive as 'regular' SEO.
The same rules apply - you need to have good content and quality links. However, the tactics are slightly different in specific areas."

ATO Targets GST Compliance
"
Compliance with tax laws is a major issue for all SMEs and that includes GST.
Monthly Business Activity Statements (BASs) etc are a drain on already stretched SMEs but they must be done.
While complying with the GST laws may be relatively straightforward for some businesses that may not be the case for others and the Tax Office is ramping
up its efforts to detect and act on GST non-compliance."

How to Use Your Super Power for Good
"
Here's what we know: Like the common cold, emotions are contagious...
This is particularly important to understand for people in positions of authority because leaders, more than anyone, set and spread the mood.
If you've ever worked in an office, you know this from experience. If the boss is in a bad mood, conflicts increase.
If she's in a good mood, people lighten up."
