How to Remove Mega Moiré

Every digital camera is capable of creating moiré, a repetitive pattern of wavy lines or circles that occasionally appear on objects in digital captures.

Our hot tip of the week is provided courtesy of the Digital Imaging Marketing Association and concerns removing mega moiré for your images. Jane Conner-ziser, a photographer and digital artist with more than 25 years experience, provides a stepby-step tutorial on how to remove moiré and how to prevent getting it in the first place.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Lynette Hewitt for winning Professional Photographer of the Year at the 2009 Epson WA AIPP Professional Photographer of the Year Awards, held 4 September. In addition to taking the big prize, Ms. Hewitt also won the Portrait Photographer of the Year award, sponsored by Fitzgerald Photo Imaging. Runner-up was Michael Pilsworth. We’re thrilled to announce our collaboration with Albums Australia, the largest wedding album manufacturer in Australia. Fitzgerald Photo Imaging has been invited to be part of Albums Australia Print and Assembly service. We can now colour correct and print your wedding album images. We’ll courier them directly to Albums Australia for assembly.
