Laminating and Mounting Options
The process of Laminating your prints is important because it protects them from environmental conditions which would otherwise damage or shorten their lifespan. This is particularly important when your images are not protected behind glass.

We only use the best Laminates available and all have UV inhibitors designed to protect against fading due to UVA and UVB exposure. Once laminated, your prints can simply be wiped clean of grease, moisture, dirt and other airborne particles. We offer a choice of 4 types of laminate.
Sandtex has a Scratch resistant and slightly textured appearance and is ideally suited to floor graphics and pull up banner applications. Because it does not have a glossy appearance it is also suitable for use where reflections from spotlights would otherwise detract from the image’s overall appearance, or in high traffic areas where images are likely to be touched or scuffed.
Satin, like Sandtex does not have a glossy appearance, but does not have the textured finish. It is suitable for a range of applications where the minimization of flare from lighting is important.
Gloss lamination helps bring out those special qualities in photographic images. It is ideal for highly detailed or colourful imagery which may, or may not be, viewed behind glass.
Ultra Gloss lamination is the highest gloss finish available, designed to give maximum impact to photographic images. It is ideally suited to images mounted onto Aluminium.
Mounting Options
Often how an image is mounted can make all the difference to it’s overall appearance. Again, only the best materials and most advance techniques are used. Gator Foam is an extruded polystyrene board bonded between two layers of luxcell wood fibre veneer. It is available in 5mm and 10mm thicknesses.
Kapa is a lightweight polyurethane foam board with high resistance to bending and pressure. It is available in 10mm thickness. Both Gator and Kapa are extremely light weight and therefore suitable for exhibitions, trade shows and retail displays where ease of transport and simplicity of hanging is important.
Aluminium Composite Panels are probably the most sophisticated way of displaying photographic imagery. With the smoothest surface available, they are ideally suited to Gloss or Ultra Gloss prints, and are supplied with hidden 10mm standoffs so that they appear to float off the wall.
