Giclee Fine Art and Canvas Printing
The French word Giclée (pronounced jee-clay) means to spray or squirt. Suitable for art reproductions and limited edition prints, Giclèe prints are widely accepted in the world's finest museums and galleries as a true fine art medium.
Our Giclèe process uses advanced 2880dpi printing technology to apply archival Ultra Chrome pigment ink onto the chosen media. Like all fine art works, Giclèe prints must be protected from moisture and abrasion. When cleaning only use a soft, lint free, dry cloth.
We recommend canvas prints are lacquered to provide additional protection from handling, stretching and environmental conditions. Archival prints from slide, negative and digital media are available on acid free 100% cotton canvas or Photo Rag for an archival life > 75 years.
Giclèe Fine Art prints are available in either satin, smooth or textured surfaces. Canvas prints are supplied with an additional 2" border to aid in stretching or can be supplied stretched and ready to hang around a thick 40mm frame.
